Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers a contract opportunity for experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to serve in K-12 school settings within the Jacksonville, FL area. The role involves supporting Pre-K through 12th-grade students with mild to moderate needs across multiple school sites in an itinerant capacity. Candidates will be working onsite only and should be prepared to manage an estimated caseload of approximately 60 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students ranging from Pre-K to 12th grade
- Manage an itinerant caseload across multiple school locations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on mild to moderate speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant guidelines and regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech Language Pathologist licensure required
- Experience working with Pre-K to 12th-grade populations in school-based settings
- Proven ability to manage a moderate to large caseload effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
- Availability to work approximately 35 hours per week onsite
